Each summer, a special group of outstanding undergraduate and graduate students
are selected to participate in the FBI Honors Internship Program in Washington,
D.C., or at a Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory (RCFL) located throughout

Working at NSA as a Summer Intern provides an opportunity for you to earn while
you learn in the field of Information Assurance (IA). You will be involved in
information operations that protect and defend the Nation's top-secret
information and information systems, as well as providing for restoration of
information systems by incorporating protection, detection, and reaction
capabilities.
Independent study opportunities with Anderson's expert professors are available to students. Students can work with a professor to select a topic of interest that will allow them to develop additional expertise in a cutting edge area. These opportunities emphasize faculty/student involvement and expose the student to research methods and practices. Current and past projects include: e-discovery, secure wireless network design, IT policy creation.
