Los Alamos National Laboratory

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) offers an internship program that places students in their Information Systems and Technology Division. This program is competitive and students are encouraged to have a list of their computer skills, programming languages, and platforms available. Students are also encouraged to write a cover letter in the area of interest in the application -- cybersecurity, information assurance, etc. These terns are picked up in keyword searches by prospective hiring managers.

Interested students should also take time to review LANL's external web site to see what LANL does in the areas of cybersecurity and information assurance.

The following is a list of groups at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the Information Systems and Technology Division:

  • Control Inventory and Configuration Applications
  • Facility Operations Applications
  • Financial and Personnel Applications
  • Data Management
  • Information Technology Services
